Types of Self-Priming Pumps
Jun 19, 2026| Self-priming pumps are a type of self-priming centrifugal pump featuring an integrated liquid storage chamber. Once initially primed, they require no repeated filling on start-stop and don't need foot valve, simplifying the piping layout.
We offer four series to match different media:
IHZ Self-priming Chemical Pump: horizontal, outer-mixing, for corrosive clean media. 5 m self-priming height; replaces some submersible pumps.
ZX Self-priming Clean Water Pump: general-purpose, cost-effective, for clean water and low-impurity media.
ZW Self-priming Sewage Pump: combines self-priming with non-clogging performance via an axial backflow outer-mixing structure.
SP Self-priming Sewage Pump: High self priming suction and enhanced self-priming height on the ZW base with strong solid-passing capacity.
CYZ-A Self-priming Centrifugal Oil Pump: Specially designed for conveying gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, lubricating oil and various other oil media without solid particles. It is a commonly used pump for oil depots, gas stations and tanker unloading at docks.
