Basic Information On Clean Water Centrifugal Pumps

Clean water centrifugal pumps are designed to handle clean water and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water-provided they are free of solid particles-making them widely applicable in industry, agriculture, municipal water supply and drainage, and fire-fighting systems. These pumps feature a back-pull-out design, allowing the pump cover and impeller to be removed without dismantling the suction or discharge piping. The bearing housing contains two ball bearings lubricated by either machine oil or grease. The pump is driven directly by an electric motor via a flexible coupling. The volute casing, mounting feet, and suction and discharge flanges are cast as a single, integrated unit.
